Kaleidoscope's mission is "To be an instrument of enrichment, enhancement, and enlightenment, through the creation of quality theatrical experiences." Kaleidoscope is an independent production group, artistically, financially, and managerially, and was founded by four energetic, inspired, and ambitious local artists striving to produce, design, and perform with a fresh sense of dedication and commitment to the theatrical arts.

The 2008-2009 season marks the seventh anniversary of Kaleidoscope Theatre Productions. Founded by four energetic, inspired, and ambitious local artists striving to produce, design, and perform with a fresh sense of dedication and commitment to the theatrical arts, the company has grown into a high quality production house and has received numerous accolades and award nominations. Kaleidoscope Theatre Productions is a member of the Theatre District Association, the Arts Council of Buffalo and Erie County, the Buffalo Theatre Alliance, and a Mainstage Production for Curtain Up! 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008. Kaleidoscope seeks to be an instrument of enrichment, enhancement, and enlightenment through the creation of quality theatrical experiences.
